When finalising a booking, you may need to schedule additional work. During the charge-off process, you will be asked 'Is any extra work required?' If YES, you can provide a quote for extra work. If NO, you must specify why the work cannot be completed. Providing a quote with the invoice is strongly recommended.
Steps to Create a Follow-On Booking:
-
During the charge-off process, you will see the question: 'Is any extra work required?'

-
If NO, enter a reason why the extra work cannot be done.
-
If YES, confirm whether you can carry out the extra work yourself.

-
If you cannot do the work, provide a reason and charge the original job.
-
If you can do the work, prepare a price quote for additional labour and/or parts.
-
The 'Send the quote with invoice' button will appear once the extra work is added.
-
Send the quote with the invoice or at a later time, but quoting immediately is recommended.
Why Should I Provide a Quote Immediately? ✔ Improves customer experience and transparency. ✔ Helps secure future work and maintain customer trust. ✔ Ensures all job details are accurately recorded.
